Blair Blyth PT

After graduating with a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2016 I quickly discovered my passion for supporting families through significant transitions.

Initially, I began my career working mostly with adults following stroke, brain injury or spinal cord injury. However, after having three children, and recovering from pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti and low back pain with the support of expert pelvic physiotherapy, I switched focus and now specialize in pelvic floor physiotherapy. I like to incorporate my training of the McKenzie Method into my practice and have found success with those I’ve treated.

I find great joy in spending time with family, particularly exploring the outdoors with my kids. I love to discuss baby-wearing and breastfeeding, and hope to return to recreational basketball in the future!

My credentials include;

  • Bachelor of Science from University of Victoria
  • Masters of Physical Therapy from University of Alberta
  • Advanced training in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation

If you’re expecting or navigating new motherhood, I highly recommend Blair for pelvic floor physiotherapy. Her treatments and resources helped me to feel prepared for delivery and postpartum. I learned so much about my pelvic health and find myself more confident discussing concerns with other providers as a result. Thank you Blair!
